One time at summer camp…I took part in interpretive dance

April 19, 2011

We had a jam session one evening where we basically vegged out in the lodge and listened to music. Everyone was laying on the floor with their sleeping bags, talking in their own little groups. It was one of those nights that starts out dull but ends on pure enjoyment of company and music. Some of the staff and I jokingly started dancing to the music. A couple more people came out and danced. The next thing I know everyone is watching the three of us perform an interpretive dance to Imogen Heap’s Hide and Seek. It was memorable because we were completely immersed. The music flowed through my motions, I just let go, and went with it.
